Christmas is just five days away. If you're like thousands of other Austin residents, you'll probably be busy running around this weekend, trying to get all your last minute shopping done. With New Year's Eve just over a week away, it's time to start planning what you're going to be doing then. Get the whole family involved when you celebrate Austin New Year 2014 at the ANY event.

Celebrate Austin New Year 2014 at the family-friendly, entirely alcohol-free ANY event (Austin New Year). Five local Austin bands will perform throughout the evening at the Main Stage in downtown Austin. Guests can also watch dancers perform on the World Stage. There will be a veritable feast for the eyes (Austin Film Buffet from 6pm to 9pm) as well as the tummy (food and drinks available for purchase from several of Austin's best dining establishments). Also included in the evening's events will be interactive art installations, creative activities, a bike zoo and much more. And if that weren't enough, you won't want to miss the grand finale of the evening...FIREWORKS!
