Fishhawk Lake Real Estate--Pinterest has opened up new avenues

I have some new buyers who really know their SEO and they told me that I needed to be on Pinterest. OK, I listened. I delved in, and became a Woman Obsessed. At one point, I had to force myself to go to bed at 3:30 in the morning! Going back through reams of photographs and setting up new "boards" and new, fun categories it was delightful to revisit some of the many shots I'd taken of this and that, from landscapes to shapes and textures....

anyway....

I've had many  "repin" my photos and here's one...my landscape photo near a beautiful vineyard that I visited in October.

It was on my Pinterest board called "Areas Surrounding Fishhawk Lake".  

Jimena Morales put it into her file called Viajes. I was thrilled! BUT, I had no idea what this word meant. I went over and perused her board--gorgeous places of travel. I then looked up the word. Viajes means "happy trip" or "trip". To be part of her happy trip made ME happy.

Recently, I also read a fantastic blogpost by Bill Gassett on connecting Google+ with Pinterest and how effective it can be for your SEO maximization. I highly recommend that you read it. It's long but worth it. It came from my ActiveRain group members to my e-mail address through LinkedIn. I plan to put into action some of what Bill suggested. He also wrote an ActiveRain blog about Pinterest. I just joined the realtor group that he spoke of in this post.

And a third avenue that was new to me is called FineArtAmerica.com and I discovered it through Pinterest. It is an online website where you can sell your art to consumers and you don't have to do much! I have only just started this process, put it on Facebook and got an order the next day for one of my Heron photos to be used on a card with a poem inside for a Christmas present for my Fishhawk Lake neighbor's family member (who also has property here at Fishhawk Lake)! How cool is THAT??

It all adds up to exposure, and it's like I've multiplied my avenues for people to find Fishhawk Lake, by not really saying it's real estate, but through other places!  They still find Fishhawk Lake and the resident/realtor--ME! But, be sure and connect your website to your profile.
