How Many Hugs a Day Do You Need to Survive, Grow and Thrive?
By Michelle Carr Crowe, REALTOR®
Back in college at San Jose State University, I remember learning people need a minimum of three hugs a day just to survive.
Hugging is good medicine. Best of all giving a hug costs no money, takes only seconds, and returns back at least as much joy and love to you as it does to the person you give a hug to.
Recently I saw on Facebook that Dr. Wayne Dyer posted people now need more hugs:
4 hugs a day to survive
8 hugs a day for maintenance, and
12 hugs a day for growth.
During this Christmas season, a warm hug is a gift you can share with everyone on your Christmas list.
More Benefits of Hugs
You'll never run out of hugs.
You'll never have to rush back to the store and fight the crowds to buy more hugs.
There is no minimum or maximum age limit on hugs.
A hug is never the wrong size.
You can enjoy as many hugs a day as you like and never gain weight.
Even when you are exhausted, you can still give and receive a hug.
And imagine how good you will feel after giving twelve hugs a day!
