Geese heading South maybe maybe not

The day after the last snowstorm I was driving down a country lane when I noticed  these Geese flying South, maybe maybe not. It seem to me that more birds are hanging istead of migrating.  I suppose they have adapted to the environment.

Because the birds were far away they appear rather small, however I could  still see the formation.

After the recent spell of cold weather I think some of us thought about migrating south if just for a moment.

Have a great Monday.

Geese heading South

They must have gotten the memo that it was going to be much warmer this weekend. Thanks for sharing the photo.

Make it a great week!

Yup - I migrated south Jennifer :) When I was living on Long Island this past fall, several flocks of many hundreds of geese would land on the pumpkin farm next door every morning. I would watch them with awe every morning as a drank my coffee.

Jennifer still lots of geese around here, but in a very short while they may be sorry they did not make the flight south :)

Hi Jennifer, it's a really good photo you show here, one we see all the time by just looking up. The birds always fly in groups and who knows where they are going.

I have seen with my own eyes that migratory birds are not heading as far south as they used too. A very clear picture that the environment is indeed changing. Best wishes for a very Happy New Year
