Things to Do in Delray Beach During the Holidays-2013
The holidays are here and for those of us in Delray Beach and the rest of Palm Beach County, that can mean relatives and visitors from the north. Here are places and events you won’t want to miss (and will help get them out of your house for a few hours!!!)
100 Foot Christmas Tree -Atlantic Avenue @ Old School Square
You don’t have to celebrate Christmas to enjoy visiting our tree. It’s not just for looks, though. You can go inside and see some animated displays that will keep even the squirmiest young one entertained.
There’s also the Santa Gift Shop, Carousel, and Ice Skating Rink.
Free Friday Concerts - Delray Center for the Arts at Old School Square- 7:30 pm
Friday-December 27, 2013- The People Upstairs
A unique blend of Funk, Reggae and Rock.
Friday- January 3, 2014 - Rum Crew
A special blend of beach music!
The Delray Beach Green Market- Saturdays- 9 am to 2 pm- Old School Square
You know you’re here for the weather so why not get out and enjoy it. The Green Market is a way to try all of the freshness Delray has to offer.
First Night in Delray Beach- December 31, 2013 561-279-1380.
This is the perfect way to ring in the New Year with the young ones. Family friend and fun!!!
