Enjoying the Winter Sun in Sandy Utah

It's winter in Sandy UT, and it's cold.

You might think that, because it's 15 degrees outside. But still, it is early morning. Add a few hours and we will will reach a brilliant 35 degrees ~ positively warm. I will definitely get to shirt sleeves. May even contemplate some snow sculpture.

No inversion to cause haze. Everything sharp as a tack. The mountains on both sides of the valley appear higher and closer, inviting inspection of their detail.

It's Winter Sun in Sandy UT. Spectacular, enjoyable, inviting. Beautiful blue sky.

Thoughts of winter toys, and adventure. Proper clothing for comfort.

A great reason to visit us. An even better one for making our place in Paradise your home.

Barbara - and our company logo reminds me of the peak visible from my front door in its winter glory. The "Everlasting Hills" provide great views anytime.

Hi Larry,

Winter photos are truly inspirational! Snow sculptures sound like fun in the sun even if the temps are chilly. There's nothing better to children than playing out in the snow and that's a good lesson for all of us! Thanks for these great inspirational thoughts and photos Larry!

Patricia - lately while a lot of the country freezes,  we have had surprisingly mild weather. Still snow in abundance on the mountains but the valley has been relatively clear. I haven't had a coat on in ages. We are enjoying some rain, more promised for the next few days. 40 - 52 is a pleasant range. I'm looking forward to your spring pictures.
