Can't Wait A Day For VEIP

It was one of those days with things to do, people to see, pictures to take, calls to make, a quick oil change, fill the car with gas, check on a new listing, do a drive by for a possible future listing and get my emissions test done.

VEIP

But it was already after 4, not much daylight left, and the testing would just wait until tomorrow.

Uh oh...look at the due date (it's right there in the top of the photo) it reads

'Maryland law requires that the vehicle.. be tested for emissions between now and December 26, 2013".

Yikes, that's today!

With 15 minutes to spare, the testing was done and my car is now up to date for another two years.

We used to have to do those, especially with my classic. We sold her to someone who fell in love with her, and now she has to deal with that...Glad you got yours done in time. LOL A

Mary, That date is on my notice. I just photographed it and put it over the picture of the emissions bay. Had nothing else to do while waiting. Have iPad...have plenty to play with.

Alexandra, Plenty of time to spare...maybe 15 minutes.

Hella, Yep, do it or deal with the fines.

Though I am glad you were able to fit the testing in to your busy schedule, I have learned that you can get an extension on the emissions due date, with no penalty! I believe they will even allow you to extend a 2nd time!

By the way...not that you are eligible but some of your clients may be...

Senior Citizen Waiver-If all on the title are over 70 and the vehicle is driven less than 5000 miles per year-you can get a waiver of the emissions requirement!

William, It freed up the day to stay in and take it easy.

Bridget, With less than an hour before VEIP closed...it was quicker to get it done than figure out how to postpone it.

Cheryl, Guess they all look alike. I wrote this post and took photos while waiting in line.

Barbara, I really don't make lists...but things do get done.
