Where Do You Find Your Blog Images and Photos?

I see that many of you add funny cartoon images and photos on your blogs.  Just curious on where you find those images and if you had to ask permission, or if there is a site that allows you to just copy images and use them?

I was recently talking to my web designer and she had said that you have to be careful if you use someone else's image.

So thought I would put it out there.  And thanks in advance for those who can help answer my question.

I copy and paste most of my things.  I find great photos on Photobucket.com or I just upload from my computer

You can also search Royalty Free Images and come up with some good stuff as well.  I have a CD that I bought at a computer show that has a Billion Images , Cartoons, Sound Tracks and Sound Effects etc.

Great places for royalty free images on the web. Here are a couple of sites for you.

fotosearch.com                veer.com

ImageChef.com (make your own banners)

Freegraphics.org             Fotosearch.com

Clip-art.com

These should keep you for awhile!  Set up a lightbox for the photos & then email them to yourself or just right click to save to your drive.

Quality stuff & one of the sites should always have what you want.

This site was on a post yesterday, lots of possibilities for your blog. Click Here. If you click the highlighted here and it works, it's because of Danny Thornton's post on inserting hyperlinks. Have fun.

I've been collecting photos and clipart that i copy from emails for a few years now, and I uploaded tons of them to photobucket.  It's a great site.  Get yourself an account, and start saving your stuff there.  It's FREE.  Very easy to work with.  www.photobucket.com

I pay for a service through RealEstateClipArt.com- which is $25 a year. I also use Microsoft.com clipart, as well as PhotoBucket. I always post a link back to the Website to give it "credit".
