“How Many Referral will You Pass Out in 2014”My yearly goal for giving out referrals is 2 referrals PER DAY. I further break it down in every imaginable category, 100 of them to be exact on an Excel spread sheet so I can track all referrals. For example, my yearly goal is to give 120 referrals to Realtors during the year, unfortunately I missed my goal in 2011, giving out 111 referrals and 119 in 2012, but so far in 2013, I’m at 124.Other referrals will be as follows, 12 to financial planners, 12 to CPA’s, 120 to home inspectors, 120 to insurance agents, 12 to home stagers, 2 to marriage counselors, 6 to life insurance agents, 12 to web designers, 6 travel agents, 6 to chiropractors, 36 to bankers, 24 to other mortgage brokers, 120 to my BNI group, 60 to my Breakfast Club group, well you get the idea.I have been in a BNI group for 14 years and each year no one has given out more referrals than I have. I always want my focus on referrals I can give to others, rather than what I expect to get.image courtesy of nokhoog_buchachon/freedigitalphotos.netJoe Petrowsky, NMLS #6869
