Today is a great day. The sun is shining, the temperature is perfect, and everywhere you go people are filled with the holiday spirit. I LOVE THIS TOWN. Springfield, MO is by far one of the coolest cities in the country, no, IN THE WORLD. There is so much to do. Before I start telling you about everything there is to do in Springfield, let me be absolutely honest with you. I am not a tour guide, I do not get paid to express my opinion about this awesome town, and by no means do I expect you to believe anything I have to say. I'm just a Springfield local looking to spread the word about the town that I love. I have lived all over the country and traveled all over the world. From Arkansas to Texas to Arizona to Colorado to Oregon to Washington, I've been there and done that. And after being away from Missouri for 10 years I finally made my way back to my hometown. I met the love of my life, I got married and we now live in the heart of downtown Springfield.

Springfield has something for everyone. If you're a coffee drinker, The Coffee Ethic is one of many downtown coffee shops that offer a large selection of coffee drinks, pastries, and even a few beers on tap. If you're trying to avoid the downtown scene, there is Hebrews coffee on the south side that offers that same coffee shop feeling in a different part of town. Those are only two of the many coffee shops that Springfield has to offer. If you're into recreation, Missouri was voted the #1 Trail State by American Trails with hundreds of miles of hiking, biking, and walking trails. The Ozarks Greenway Trails offer city wide bike friendly trails that allow you to get anywhere in the city. Need a degree? With Ozarks Technical Community College, Missouri State University, Drury University, Evangel University and other local colleges you can take your pick of the school that fits you.
