Personally my sister Kathy and I are not the head for a big party kind of gals on New Year's Eve, though just today we were reminiscing about the ones our family used to throw when we were teenagers. Our mom was absolutely fabulous about having our friends over and we had more parties at our home growing up than I could possibly count. We even told our niece and nephews about my surprise 16th birthday party where our parakeet Joey danced all night and didn't wake up the next morning. Poor Joey, but it was a great party.
