“Rather go to bed without dinner than to rise in debt.”

As I see it . . . . . . .
Reduced debt
Master your financial health by systematically reducing your debt.
Grow your debt . . . . and you become indentured to the debt.
More and more of the people that I speak with are telling me that wherever possible they have stopped using their credit cards. They have also saying that if they can’t pay cash for something that they are delaying the purchase until the cash is available pay for it.
Here are some of the things that I have learned from those conversations.
Reducing their debt was a conscious decision . . . . and a on purpose activity. It’s has not always easy for them to do it . . . . And some have told me that at times it becomes very painful to go through the process of reducing their debt. But when they do it . . . they are telling me it was well worth it.
For most of them reducing their debt in a priority in their life . . . .
The time line for reducing their debt is an ongoing process . . . . and for some of them it will be an extended process.
For the ones that have make a big dent in their debt . . . . They are telling me it’s like a breath of fresh air has come into their life. They have said that the weight of their debt has been lifted off their shoulders . . . . and they feel a sense of relief in their life.
There are some who are really struggling with their debt reducing have told me they have made very little progress in reducing their debt . . . . but remain committed to doing it.
Reduced debt is a process . . . . and requires a plan . . . . time . . . . a commitment . . . . and worth doing.
