I have been several days since I last wrote a blog about the wonderful restaurants available in the South Davis County area. Today, I am featuring a wonderful restaurant called Thyme & Seasons. It is located in Bountiful and is sort of off of the beaten path as far as restaurants go. It is near the Winegar's Grocery store, but there aren't a lot of restaurants in that area.
When you go, be ready to be amazed! You should a be ready to get to know Chef Hai, he is the owner of the restaurant. Thyme & Seasons is also a cooking school. The food was amazing! We went at lunch, if you go at lunch realize that there is only one menu. You get the dinner menu all the time. If something isn't on the menu, ask Chef Hai, there is a good chance that he will make it for you!
Chef Hai is also more than willing to share cooking tips as well food ideas with you. He told me, after our first visit, that the next time we come in, he will prepare a low carb dish for me. We mentioned in passing that I am losing weight via the low carb lifestyle. Thyme & Seasons also markets rice and spice blends, we tried the purple rice, (not really on my list of what I should be eating), but it was amazing!
Thyme & Seasons is an award winning restaurant, one visit and we could easily tell why!
