Today I Go Without Water.

Late yesterday afternoon I walked back in the house with groceries and purse and electronics in hand that I safely plopped down upstairs.

Then I saw Riley Rover react to a noise.

Then I heard rushing water.

Then I ran downstairs.

Then I grabbed a bucket and called 911 and started bailing until the North Beach VFD arrived.

The lessons learned? Have water bottles a plenty in stock. Practice turning off main water valve in case a pipe ever bursts. Trigger car alarm so Neighbors know you need help. Have Plumber to call late at night to get Repair scheduled.

I got Lucky. Mostly my rag dolls and I got drenched in freezing cold temps. More SCARE than anything. Nothing like a Polar Bear Plunge in your own basement.

Today I Go Without Water. I got way too much yesterday but will miss it today. Don't mind the dishes in the sink or the wet clothes that need to be washed. Of well, there's bottled water for KCups and Teavana.
