Lately I have had a few calls and comments on my blog asking how do you do that?  What they have been asking about is Vflyer and Real Estate Shows.

Vflyer

Vflyer is incredibly easy to use. You can create flyers and email them to your contacts, or sphere of influence, leave brochures in the homes and syndicate your listing to other web-sites. I create a flyer and email it to all my office, my sellers and anyone else I want to share it with.

Oliver Muoto blogs on Activerain and you can get all the new tips and updates by subscribing to his blog. You can also syndicate your Vflyer to craigslist with the html code given to you and showcase your listings here on Active Rain.

 Real Estate Shows

The other really wonderful service I discovered on Active Rain is Real Estate Shows, with Jeff Turner. You can subscribe to his blog here on Active Rain.

One of my favorite posts by Jeff is Setting up your video tours, which has a list of things to do with video tours and how to do them. All of Jeff’s post can be found in the Hubba Clubba Group Roar. Any guess who started that group to make it easy to find all of Jeff’s posts?

Both VFlyer and Real Estate Shows have enhanced my business. In fact I like them both so much, I use them both on all my listings.

Real Estate Shows is only 125.00 per year for unlimited shows. I have also created many personal shows for family, and friends.

VFlyer has different pricing levels depending on how many listings you will need.

syndication sitesBoth of them you can start on a FREE Trial basis.

Both Vflyer and Real Estate Shows Syndicate to all the major search sites.

So that’s how I do it and why I love it them so much.

I love RES!  I also like how we can make a flyer with the show in it now.

I found out about RES through AR and will be switching from my other provider to this one. I really like the tours in the flyers.  I don't use vflyer, but another similar service and I agree that they are the best.

Missy, I use them both too and love it!  We had a virtual tour provider give a presentation at our office for a product that was much more expensive than RES - I could only smile to myself, that I was waaaaaay ahead of him :)

Missy,

I haven't used VFlyers yet, but I have been using RES long enough that Jeff is dunning me to re-subscribe.

Trust me: I will!  I love getting the link while I am putting the finishing touches on the show.

Hoping Mariana's campaign to have RES designated a KW vendor succeeds.

Missy,

I use Vflyers all the time.  They are so easy to post to backpage and craigslist.  They are also easy to make changes to and you can even track how many times your flyers are being viewed and by what source.  I love it!!

Now if you can tell me how to get my listing widgets on the side of active rain, I will be set.  Thanks.

Hi Missy - I'm with you on the REShows - LOVE them!!  I use them on my listings, on area tours, and I've done personal ones, too.  I would not be without them, and we have free tours as part of RE/MAX but I like these much better!

I've not tried VFlyer yet, so I might look into that.

I love vflyer as well and have been using it for a month now. I have heard about real estate shows, but have not used it yet. So much info here it's all great, but I feel like it will take me forever to utilize it all.

Missy, Very Very Intereseting.  So you are going to be the next oscar winning director?  I am dreading the day when instead of posting we will be vidio posting. Jeff and others are already pushing this.  Now, Bob Stewart has announced ARs new video contest.  AJ

Vflyer is a must in my book.  I love that program.  The Real Estate Shows is something I haven't tried yet, but with more and more views of yours I have to say I'm negligent in joining.

Missy,

You're burning the midnight oil again, I see.  RES will continue to be one of my favorite contact tools even though I've inactivated my real estate license.  I create shows for clients and family when they send me photos.  Since they're unexpected, they have a big WOW factor.

Hi Missy,do you think I should set up an outside blog site?  Also what domain name is best? Katy Real Estate . com was taken.  The ones I got already are, mykatyrealestate.com, carterhomesblog.com, mycarterhomes.com, lizcarterhomes.com or cartercountryhomes.com, which one is best?  Also should I do all of the above in your post and how much business do you truly get from those sources?

On the calculator, you have got to get some they are so cool and they just keep turning, it's like magic :).  The cards come from the same place as the million bills and are over-sized so the million bill, a Starbucks cert. etc. fits without being folded.  So especially if you laminate some of the bills they work great and look great.  The price I got them down to was $4.95 on the calculators, and they don't go bad :).  Liz

Here's another pretty pictue I took, I really like this one, with the water drops on it, and it look like the light is coming from inside.  L

Liz, I think you should get an outside blog if you have the time to post. AR is suppose to come out with some and it keeps getting delayed. I will try one of there for Saline, where I live. So I am in waiting mode. If you get an outside blog check things like KadyRealEstateTalk to babble, buzz,  or yak something that distinguishes it as a blog.

I bought the domain http://BlogAnnArbor.com for my site here and point the AR URL to it.

Both VFlyer and RE Shows do different things and I like them both.

Missy, thanks so very much for this!  Being that I am new to NC I am mostly working with buyers but once I am back doing listings I can't wait to try all of these.  Of course, I use Real Estate Shows to support Jeff but have now subscribed to VFlyers as well!

vFlyer is one of the best I have come accross.  You are able to create professional looking flyers and then syndicate them on the internet.  As Missy says they can be emailed or used for brochures.  Thanks for sharing and I will have to look into the real estate shows.

Missy,

I have used both vflyer and postlets but never to much extent... why vflyer of postlets?  I have looked at the r/e shows and like Jeff, nice guy...  I use visual tour now and it is really just the change that has kept me from doing something... any chance you have used both and can compare and contrast?

Thanks,

Mark Ryan

Missy: I definitely agree with you. I have recently went in contract with a client who contacted me via my flyer on VFlyer and with Jeff's RES, it has definitely enhanced my listings. On top of that, I could use it to send messages to clients on RES. How cool is that!

Missy - I need to play with vflyer more, I haven't done much with it and I know there is so much more to it.  As for RES, it is a great, easy tool that anyone can use that is very affordable.

Missy, excellent advice. I love and use both products though more of RES. In May, I'll be renewing for my third year for RES. It always gets the google alerts!!! Not as soon as AR, but eventually.

Thanks for the info Missy, I have been curious about Vflyers and will make sure to look into it more.  The use of advertising with video really seems to have become very popular lately.  I haven't checked out Real Estate shows yet either, but I will!!
