Too cold to think!

One of the reasons I moved to the South way back when was to avoid the harsh reality of Winter in Western Pennsylvania.

But over the decades since I moved to Georgia, Old Man Winter has occasionally found his way to these supposedly temperate parts!

And with single digit temperatures predicted over the next few days, I will be the beneficiary of a free refresher course in frigid activity awareness. It’s a curriculum that I thought I had successfully completed years ago!

To tell you the truth, as much as I like continuing education, I am not looking forward to it!

Richard, my guess is that winters in western Pennsylvania were similar to Chicago, my home before we moved to the Nashville area. We love it here, but the occasional cold blast is a rude reminder that cold is not that far away!
