Active Rainers, from Mega Agent to Newbie..Learning from Each Other
I love Active Rain. I value my growing community of Realtors who blog in the Rain. And, I do not know what I would do without the expertise of the members of this group.
When I want to learn a new technology, I search for an answer from a Rainer. Or, ask someone who could help me. When I want to share a new trick, I post it, step by step for others to learn, paying it forward. At first, I did not feel I had anything to share until I tried it. There are always people who can benefit from your expertise, whether is is an IPhone gimmick or app or working with first time home buyers. What I learned? Share your expertise. Someone on AR will need just that tip.
Rainers don't need to be Ambassadors to help or connect with. I have reached out to, learned from or connected with Bryant Tutas, Cal Yoder, Debbie Laity, and more.
Don't need help? What about referrals? There are relationships to build in areas where there is a good cross pollination of clients. For example, Folks from Denver, Colorado Springs, Texas and Oklahoma love Salida Colorado and the Down Valley. Many have purchased 2nd homes, vacation rentals and eventually move here. I am slowly working on a network of Rainers who live in those areas for referrals.
Last but not the least, what about Kerrie La Guardia and Bob Stewart? Without them, AR could not be AR. Bob has helped my over and over at conferences, with AR university, with his SEO bootcamp and more. And Kerrie is a godsend.. bubbly and ready to help at a moment's notice. You two rock.
Thinking about joining a fabulous community of realtors? You found it!
