Derrick - why do they call it "Mummy Mountain"...?  I've never heard the story on it.  Camelback, I get.  Mummy, though...?

Hi Sharon! Legend has it that a major land owner felt that the "windy gulch" and the "horseshoe mountain" didn't have much marketing appeal. After he took a long look at the mountain he said it looked like an egyptian mummy lying down. This plus he felt a better name would help him sell his property is why he named it Mummy Mountain.
