Whether the Seahawk's season ends this weekend (gulp!) or not, the fact remains, in a few short weeks, the NFL season will come to an end, and those of us who have scheduled our lives around Kickoff times, will soon have to find other things to occupy our weekends.
Fortunately, as a Real Estate Broker, I rarely need to look for something to do on the weekends. Often there's an open house to be held, new clients to meet or paperwork to catch up on.
And if the National Headlines have it right, it looks like many of us in the greater Seattle real estate market, will be plenty busy this coming year.
Here are just a few Seattle area Real Estate headlines published recently:
Seattle Homes Selling Faster than US Average
Where to Invest in 2014 (Seattle is #16)
Seattle Shines in Zillow's 2014 Housing Forecast
Of course, as I've shared before, the real estate industry is a fluid, market based arena. It is subject to fluctuations which can be subtle or drastic (as seen in July 2007) based upon factors such as consumer confident and the economic influences of Wall Street. Over the past 2+ decades as a Real Estate Broker I've seen up and down markets, luke-warm markets, hot markets, and stone cold markets.
If you think 2014 will involve a real estate purchase or sale for you or your family, I strongly suggest you not just rely on general market articles, but rather consult a knowledgeable Broker about your goals prior to moving forward. A savvy Broker will be able to share with your what's going on in the market right now, and that information will be extremely instrumental as to whether your outcome is successful or not.
Of course, this weekend, I will be wearing my Seahawks Jersey (#3 of course!) and rooting Seattle on to (hopefully) another victory over the Saints. And then of course we have the next weekend in the Championships and then of course Super Bowl weekend.
After that.....I'm all yours
(But I might still be wearing my #3 jersey)
GO HAWKS !!
