Huntsville Alabama Weather January 2014 Village of Providence
The winter weather in Huntsville Alabama is considered by most to be a milder climate particularly for someone like me from Northern Illinois and yes Northern Alabama does have a milder climate, however, it does get cold here as short lived as it may be. Like much of the country Huntsville has experienced extreme cold temps and when that happens we get to see on those rare occasions scenes like the photo below.

It was 7 degrees on my ride into work this morning and about the same yesterday. However, for anyone wanting to move to the Northern Alabama area because of the milder climate or employment...this will all be gone shortly! The rest of the week temperatures are expected to climb into the 40's and be in the lower 60's this weekend.
