Have You Heard of Weltanschauung?
What in the world is Weltanschauung? Weltanschauung is pronounced “welt·an·schau·ung”. Webster dictionary defines this term as “World view; philosophy of life; a framework through which to interpret the world”. Additionally, it refers to the framework of ideas and beliefs through which an individual, group or culture interprets the world and interacts with it. After reading this I thought to myself ”Oh yes, this is what ActiveRain is all about”.
ActiveRain believes that it is in the best interests of real estate professionals to build a community that is focused on educating one another. This is what they have done. But the world wide community has been expanded to include other professionals as we all have something to teach each other no matter what our career is. ActiveRain believes strongly in homeownership and so they strive to give their real estate professionals knowledge and skills to successfully sell homes which in turn improve the world we live in. ActiveRain believes in free expression but personal attacks or predatory behavior will not be tolerated. This is very important and protects us all.
This idea is very exciting. We, as a community are interacting with each other, educating each other, making lasting friendships, and making the community a much better place. While doing all of these things, we are helping the world by selling homes to buyers and establishing neighborhoods and making the hopes and dreams of buyers come true. It is the American dream to become a homeowner. We should thank ActiveRain for starting this community but we can thank ourselves for helping to keep it alive.
These are some my favorite pictures. I like to go and watch the ducks/geese community in Loma Linda, CA at the Veteran’s Regional Hospital. The birds learn to live together and set up their own rules. Geese/Ducks are very social animals just like humans.
