I took this photo last week when I went on a beautiful hike with some relatives that came up to visit after Christmas. We did a little sight seeing over the weekend. It was a little chilly out but it was a sunny day. From this view up above, it made me feel like I was on top of the world! This part of the Rim Country is Beautiful. To get under the Bridge it is about a 300-400 ft. Hike. The view from down there is quite Magnificent too. It was really crowded under there that day so we didn't go all the way down this time. The Tonto Natural Bridge is believed to be the Largest Natural Travertine Bridge in the World! Definitely something to come see if you get the chance. The Natural Bridge stands over a 400 ft. long tunnel that measures about 150 Feet. and reaches about a height of 183 ft. There is also a breathtaking Waterfall to be seen from another View Post. If you get the chance to drive through Payson, AZ, don't cheat yourself from the great opportunity to experience The Tonto Natural Bridge!
