Are you Going to Carolina in Your Mind?

James Taylor dreams about "Carolina On My Mind", but you can make it more than a dream! Have you ever visited Hilton Head Island, SC, on the East Coast and enjoyed the "laid-back" lifestyle that we have in the "Lowcountry"? If not, then you have certainly missed some of life's most wonderful moments!

Our East Coast is clean and safe, our beaches have beautiful white hard packed sand for walking, our massive Oak trees are draped with moss that dances when the semi-tropical breezes tickle them, our shrimp trawlers glide quietly out to the Atlantic Ocean in search for a great catch, and guests and Islanders sit on porches and watch some of the most life changing sunsets you have ever seen!

Hilton Head is convenient to I-95 and situated between Beaufort, SC and Savannah, GA and offers so many wonderful cultural events that there is "never a dull moment". With all the modern features of today, shopping, theaters, concerts, restuarants, boating, tennis, golf, walking, biking, beaches, it's no wonder so many people come back and want to live here!

You know, it's all about YOU, and what YOU want to do with YOUR life! In this life, you only go around one time, and as the old folks say, "this ain't no dress rehearsal"! They are really telling it correctly and you need to make the best of the rest of your life by making your dreams come true. Don't wait...

Most family memories take place around WATER....WATER... it's everywhere and most of us have all played in it, floated on it, fished in it, and just enjoyed it. Water is peaceful and since Hilton Head is surrounded by water, it makes living here simply wonderful! The time, interest rates, and prices are right! Hi Jennie - I'm reading your posts and they are good - I think it would be a good idea to post them to a group for some exposure - you may need to click to find and join a group first that suits the subject matter or even a anything goes group - Groups (see if the link to the left will take you to a list of groups?)
if not across the top right of your home page is a row of Text options including "GROUPS" where you can click to visit the groups selection any time without having to refer back to this comment

I for one have a little history in Carolina! I lived in Beaufort for 2 years when i was young. I played golf several times in Hilton Head and I love to visit Savannah for it's Bed in Breakfasts!

Klarque... thanks for responding... I was beginning to wonder if anyone read my stuff or if I put it in the right place.. When did you live in Beaufort.. what years and where? Golf here is great, and of course, Savannah is such a pretty old city.... have you ever eaten at the Olympia Cafe on River Street? It is right next to the Hyatt Hotel on the river and the food is really great... the Calamara is wonderful, and when you go in to eat... tell him you are friends of Jennie and Jofy Moore from Hilton Head and that we told you that Nick (tall one, or Vercillia (short dark headed Greek man and I don't know if I have his name spelled correctly). They treat us like royality when we go in and always remember our friends.... so, ask to speak to them or tell the waitress to tell them you are our buddies we sent in... You may even get a surprise! We send people over to them all the time....

and of course, our other buddy is Paula Deen, but now that she has "hit the big time", we never get to see her... her food is still good, but I loved it better when she had her small restaurant and was able to get out of the kitchen and come and sit at the table and talk with us! But I am sure she loves it this way; new house, new hubby, new cookbooks, new tv shows, new vacations, and new money! She richly deserves all of it.... she really worked hard to get where she is today! We knew her when she was over the kitchen and doing much of it herself.... now whe is showing out at her Brother's place, called "Bubba's"...

Also, since Bubba (husband) and I are both in real estate, we have worked some short sales here also.... if you ever need any help in this area, let us know....
