Most Realtors I know use their car not just for transportation: it's their mobile office, in addition.
I know my car trunk has signs, lockboxes, old files, and a stack of business cards, among other things.
Following my theme of cleaning up to prepare yourself for the new year, go ahead and clean it all out. Organize the stuff you need to keep (that WD40, for example), and dump the stuff you don't need in the car. It will feel so much better - I'm doing the very same thing today!
Good morning Carol. Whether you office is your car or not, it needs to get a good cleaning from time to time. You are just getting ready for a fantastic 2014.
I think I spend more time in my care for work they i spend in my bed at night some days. A clean car is a clean working space which can make our day easier and happier. I purchased clear plastic bins that are long but shallow with covers. i put them in the back filled with tools of the trade that keeps them need and from sliding around.
My car isi my office and things do pile up where it looks horrendous to anyone who notices. I have to always keep a watchful eye over my sloppiness.
I need to clean off my desk and them work on the closet in the office...followed by the bookshelves. Not looking forward to it.
Carol - I took out clients to look at homes today... the first time since early December and I admit that I was riding dirty. So I went to the car wash, vacuumed, and washed windows in time for my showings. You are right, nothing like a clean car to make things a lot better.
Carol ....MESS IS STRESS! I learned this a long time ago ...you may not realize it, but it is!
