I know I am not alone with having issues when I have a drafted post and I try to post it to public. It suddenly shows up under the draft date instead of the public/current date. I also know that the ActiveRain staff is aware of the issue per comments I got on my previous post about this issue.
In the last couple of weeks, I have been copying my drafted post and posting it to a new/public post and then deleting the drafted post. It is a pain, but at least I show up in the current blog roll this way. However, lately I have had a couple strange things happen even with this process.
In some of my copy and pasted posts, it still shows DRAFT on it, even though it is viewed publicly? I haven't seen that before. Anyone else have this issue?
Another annoying thing I have seen is it will say "title has already been taken" when I paste a draft to a new public post, even though the title was only in the draft form. Hope that makes sense. So, I tinker around with adding a space or a comma to the new title to get it posted. Anyone else have this?
Is there someone on ActiveRain where we can see current issues and also an expected remedy date? I don't mean to complain, because the Staff has always been great...Just curious. Thanks much in advance for anyone's help/feedback.
Oh, one other thing....I know from infancy, the calendar option of being able to tag when you want your draft to post to public didn't work correctly, so I never even tried that option. Has anyone been using this? And, have they had success with creating a draft, and say posting it to public 5 days out?
