It Is Freaking Cold... Everywhere
Well it's Sunday and time for a Re-Blog party, now to share a few gems that I have been collecting this week, I hope you enjoy them and stop by the original posters blog to leave them a supportive comment.
Have a Great Week!
It is freaking cold. It is freaking cold everywhere...
It is cold in Norilsk in the Arctic at – 53F,
it is cold in Minneapolis at 0F,
it is freaking cold in New York at 8F,
it is cold in Atlanta at 22,
it is cold in Jacksonville, FL at 33F,
it is freaking cold in Miami at 55F…Tell me where people feel the warmest?
Miami?
-Wrong... It is in Norilsk, in the Russian Arctic.
- But it is -53 at the time of this writing? How could it be not freaking cold?
Yes, however, the temperatures there were -40 and below for the last few weeks, and they all got used to it. It was normal (their cold streak is ending and they will have temperatures from – 7 to – 20, which will feel warm)…
When you have pretty much the same weather every day for weeks, you get used to it and it is no longer freaking cold. It is normal.
But when you feel a 30 to 50-degree drop in temperature, that’s when you feel cold. It is cold, because it was much warmer before.
Paradox, but when there is no change in temperature, it is not freaking cold. It may be cold, but when there is no change, it is rather normal…
When I lived in the Arctic and after having – 40 we would go to -20, it felt Florida…
And right now it is cold in Florida.
Yes, it is freaking cold…
Everywhere…
