Cleaning My Inbox Traffic
Oh, Christine and I have something in common. I am working hard at "unsubscribing," as well because although so many emails come in that sound like something I want to come back and read "some day," well, that day just never seems to come. Or, it comes and my interest has waned. Slowly but surely, I am unsubscribing from a lot of things. 2014 is time for shedding unnecessary time wasters - as well as a few unwanted pounds!
One of my goals this January is to de-clutter and clean up my Inbox. I get SO much email. As a Realtor®, I love email, but I’m talking about good email – from prospective clients, and my client base.
I’ve got a great spam filter, so it’s easy click, click to just empty my spam folder. The daily emails from vendors isannoying. Everyone wants to sell us “something”.
A January goal is to take a pro-active attack to what is coming into my Inbox each day.
Normally, I just click and check a ton of emails throughout the day and hit delete (without opening them). It’s a time issue, and easy to click and delete with my Gmail. But, this month, I am going to really look at what is coming in. I will open each email and scroll to the bottom and select “UNSUBSCRIBE”.
It’s January 3rd, and I’ve been a very busy Unsubscriber !!
I am hoping it makes a difference in my inbox.
