Homebuyers can receive a grant up to $7500!!
Ok my fabulous buyers and those that are on the fence about buying...this is for YOU!! Take note!! It's important and you need to jump on this ASAP before funds run out...because they probably will!
Federal Home Loan Bank is offering Community Partners a $7500 grant when you purchase a home. This grant can be used towards your closing costs (which typically run 4-5% of your purchase price) or your downpayment (3+% depending on your loan type). THIS IS AWESOME!! Who doesn't need $7500??!! I sure do!
Here is the kicker...a community partner is defined as a law enforcement officer, an educator, a firefighter, and healthcare workers. Not sure if you fall in one of those categories? Call me and I will find out for you!
Here are some more details:
*The home must be used as your primary residence
*Must complete homeownership counseling. This can now be done over the phone!! No more Saturday morning classes!
*Have annual household income at or below 80% of the areas median income
*Contribute a minimum of $1000 of your own money towards the downpayment
