Why do I need a pre-qualification letter to view real estate?

By
Real Estate Agent with Alexander Chandler Realty

Most homeowners today do not want to look at an offer unless a pre-qualification letter is attached to the offer.  They want to know the person submitting the offer is qualified to purchase the home.  Once an offer is accepted, the listing is usually changed to active option.  When a property goes active option, most realtors will not show the property, so the homeowner has all but taken the property off the market.  No one wants to take their property off the market for someone who is not qualified to purchase the property.  If you are interested in purchasing a home in the Fort Worth, Texas area and would like a list of lenders I have worked with, please e-mail me at peggymccready@sbcglobal.net
