I was very pleasantly surprised to be contacted by Stevie Lutgen recently, who is the senior editor at Lender411.com. She wanted to know if she could write a review of my blog (http://austinscoolestblog.com). This blog is fed directly from ActiveRain content, and I secured the domain years ago.
It turns out that she had read a LOT of my posts, going back 5+ years into the archives. Needless to say, I was both flattered and happy, and I agreed. She had a few interview-style questions for me, then she wrote an amazing and complimentary review here:

I really enjoy writing (this has been true since I was a kid), so it feels good when someone takes the time to explore what I've shared, even the old stuff. When she shared the post on Google+, she called herself a "total fangirl". Yes, it affected my ego. No shame in a little flattery, if it's sincere, right?
At any rate, I've also noticed that my newer posts are generating good traffic in general, so I am back in the saddle blogging again, hoping to get more real estate business and make more friends around the country this year.
It certainly doesn't hurt to have a random fan surface like this. She motivated me to write more.
So, I offer a big "thank you" to Stevie for giving me validation that my writing has real value, and thank you to AR, Bob, and Kerrie for providing a nurturing, fun environment where I have pretty much always felt comfortable blogging.
And yes, that photo is my actual thumb. I took that picture about five minutes ago. :)
