It’s Chinese New Year, 2014- Happy Year of the Horse!
2014 is the Year of the Horse and the Chinese New Year will be celebrated on January 31, 2014! There are many good Asian restaurants in Palm Beach County where you can celebrate but why wait?
You can still attend Ohsogatsu at the Morikami Museum in Delray Beach. The event had to be postponed from last week due to the heavy rains and floods we had. But this weekend calls for sunny skies and highs in the mid 60’s!
The Japanese traditionally celebrated the New Year (Oshogatsu) when the Chinese do however, many celebrate the New Year just as we do… January 1st.

Parking: visitors can park for free on site.
BONUS: members enjoy free admission to the event. Not a member? You can join at the event and receive a 10% discount on your membership as well as free admission to the event.
Tip: Try to arrive early. While parking is free and on-site, the closer lots will fill up.
