Paper Towel Extraordinary Stance | Save Millions of Paper Pounds

There is so much to learn online that can help with our environment.  One of my goals this year is to make a smaller negative mark on our environment.  So that is why paper towels come to mind.  Being a big TEDX follower, I caught this short video where we all can make that difference in our world.  How about saving multi millions of pounds of paper a year by using one less paper towel a day!?  Sure you can do it.

Follow this drill it has to do with SHAKE and FOLD and all for a Green cause and to help our environment more and the paper towel manufacturers less.  Which are you prepared to support.  I am for the environment and you will not suffer, trust me.  Give it one small try!

Great suggestion, Ginny. It's amazing how much we can do for the environment with really small changes in behavior--like using one less plastic garbage bag each week, etc.

Ginny, Ginny, Ginny.... what about the 6 sheets one needs to wipe the "shaken water drops" off the counter.... this guy has too much time on his hands... he needs to get a real job so he can buy and use a case of paper towels a week to clean and dry.... I can't deal with that.... but you knew that already just by knowing me!!

Ginny: So many of us are wasteful when all it takes is a little extra thought to conserve. Thanks for the reminder.

Nina, so right,  I recycle everything and you should see my great compost pile!

Barbara, I knew this one would set you off!  I use a roll of paper towels every 3 months...you can try!

Anita, it is a reminder to all.

Good morning Ginny.  I am all in for this.  Fact is we don't buy paper towels.  I actually use linen napkins for each meal even if it's a hot dog.  I figure I'm going to be doing laundry anyway so why waste money and hurt Mother Nature with paper towels. Once in the habit it comes natural.

Hi Ginny,

I watched the Video. Good information especially for the girls to see. LOL I use as little as possible already. I save a ton of towels over a years time.

Have a good day in North Kingstown.

Best, Clint McKie

Ginny I think it is something we could all do.  A great idea to bring this issue to the attention of others.

Have a great week.

Ginny, with the very strange weather we're having, I don't think anyone can help but think that global warming and climate changes have come along a lot sooner than we thought! If we don't get serious about making changes to our abuse of the environment our children's generation will have some serious problems.
