A big thanks to Pamela Seley and her blog on How to Make a Vision Board Online. While I have made vision boards and used pictures in many ways to help stay focused, this is a great way to keep your goals or dreams in front of you while you are working on a computer device. On my phone I have a great picture of a Red Snapper I caught in the gulf which I used on my visions board. My personal Facebook page has a picture of my retirement mornings. This vision board is going to be my desktop as I spend so much time on a computer device this will only help me stay focused on what is important. So let's see what I find important.
Vision Board
The software that Pamela showed off was very cool and allowed me to utilize a jigsaw puzzle template. I liked this template because I believe life is interconnected. I used these 12 pictures that I captrued this past year as a reminder to enjoy my hobbie. As I walk my way around this puzzle it makes great sense to me and inspires me to do my best each day.
Every day starts with a sunrise and I want to be able to enjoy sunrises over the Aransas bay everyday when I retire. I expect to wake up and be sharp as a hawk with my vision and energy. I will do this while remembering to stop and smell the flowers now and then. Howevver family is number one and one of the top reasons I want to be a winner. My wife and I make up our family along with our dogs. We all know this is a long road and you can't run it like a dash. Just as there is a day there is also a night and we need to enjoy our nightlife as well as our daytime. Music is a big factor regardless of what I am doing and watching artists is a treat that I want to continue to enjoy. Of course you cannot forget to nourish yourself, take care of yourself and remember traditions. If we are lucky enough we get to start it all over again and greet the morning ready to charge through the day.
What is important is that this makes sense to me and I can go through each of these steps very quickly in my mind. What does your vision board look like to motivate you each day?
