Kentlands asking for snow removal volunteers

 

The snow in Kentlands is pretty deep and many seniors need help to clear their sidewalks and steps. If you are able to help, please volunteer your services. If you can help shovel, please call the Clubhouse at 301.948.2071 and speak with Francine Lowenstein or send an email to flowenstein@cmc-management.com.

Helping your neighbors does not take formal action. If you think someone needs help with snow removal, just go ahead and pay it forward. This is dangerous weather for seniors and heart attacks are common during the winter months. Shoveling snow is good exercise and you may save the life of a neighbor.

Roy, it does sound like you are getting pounded again with snow.  Hope there are many volunteers for the snow removal, and you get some help too!

It is a nice act to assist seniors with their snow. I have a couple of neighbors who i always help out. We just got skirted by this storm, but every other one got us. it was -2 this morning.

Very nice of you to put the word out on this subject Roy. On the news last night they mentioned that it is a law in Chicago saying all walk ways much be cleared.
