Has anyone been keeping up with the latest developments with Google?  I ask because Google is in the finishing stages of building its 215 acre facility in Lenoir, NC (Caldwell County).  I'm curious what overall effect this new business will bring to an otherwise depressed region in light of all the furniture industry changes.  Just last week, the $31 billion merger with DoubleClick and Google was finalized.  It will be an interesting ride, especially in the real estate market, to see what happens to this area with such big business moving into town.
