Existing Home Sales Report for St Charles IL 2013
Here's a quick snapshot of existing home sales data for St Charles, Illinois. The infographic below compares 2013 to 2012.
As you can see, real estate sales performed much stronger in 2013 as the market stabilized and began a growth trend which we expect to continue through 2014.
Both total home sales and prices were up for the year. Distressed property sales were up a bit while housing inventory fell. A drop in housing inventory bodes well for sellers as this translates into higher sales prices and potentially quicker market times. For buyers, this means your agent needs to be on the ball to ensure you see these homes as soon as they become available.
