Where to eat during the Phoenix Open
If you’re one of the lucky ones in Scottsdale for the Phoenix Open, in addition to enjoying our wonderful weather and some great golf, I have some recommendations for north Scottsdale dining after your day at the open.
Italian
About 10 minutes north of the Phoenix Open, you’ll find Gianfranco’s Ristorante. This wonderful restaurant will not disappoint with food ranging from delicious appetizers to large main dishes to heavenly dessert. From the open, take either Pima Rd or Scottsdale Rd north to Happy Valley. Turn east/right and go to the stop sign at Alma School. Turn north/left and go to Jomax Rd. At third driveway, turn right and ENJOY.

Pizza
For great wood fired pizza, try Ciao Grazie, located just 5 minutes north of the open. From salad to calzones to heavenly pizza, I’m sure you’ll love the selection at Ciao Grazie. From the open, go north on Pima Rd to Legacy Blvd and turn east/right. Go through the light at Thompson Peak Pkwy and Ciao
Grazie will be on your left at the corner.

Fine Dining and live music
If you’re looking for fine dining with great music, there’s Mastro’s. The food and service is always top of the line and a great way to relax after all that walking. From the open, drive north on Pima or Scottsdale Rd to Pinnacle Peak Rd. Mastro’s is located at the northeast corner of Pima and Pinnacle Peak Rd just 7 minutes north of the open.
