Why Is Changing A Password So Much Like A Secret Mission
I've been changing passwords all morning. I've been at it for 3 hours and I am still not done. I actually had to Google how to change a gmail password. Changing passwords would only take a few minutes if it was not so darn complicated to find where to change them.
Even changing my ActiveRain password was time hog. I called a couple of Rainers for help. AR Ambassador, Dick Greenberg broke the code for me. Thank you, Dick!
If you want to know how to change your AR password, call Dick.
Just kidding! Like with anything, once you know how, it's easy.
On the top navigation bar under the ActiveRain Cloud is our photo and name.
Click on the gold down arrow and you will find "Reset Password."
From there it is self explanatory.
I am getting smarter about changing passwords. This is something I do as a matter of routine for security purposes. This time around I'm creating a password change directory. The next time I change passwords I will be able to easily navigate to where I need to go to change a password. That is of course assuming that location is not changed like it was in ActiveRain.
Once I am finished with my password security updates I'm heading to Verizon to get help setting up email on my iPad. It's time. I've had the iPad for over 7 months. I was at Verizon last night but for some reason the iPad was not verifying my email. It was believed that my password or email address was incorrect. I happen to know that is not the case. I verified all of it on my laptop.
Today we will try adding the email by downloading an application from the Apple store. Wish me luck. If I can get email to work I might actually add my iPad to my account. Some learning curves are not really curves at all. Sometimes it feels more like hitting a brick wall.
