I want this to be information one just usually doesn’t hear.  If you have I would like to know if you haven’t all the better you’ve learned something today.  With that being said here is the information for you to consider today.

In New York and Mississippi, a spouse can sue a third party for being responsible for the failure of a marriage in cases of what’s called “alienation of affection.  The last one for today is: Due to jobs, kids, TV, the Internet, hobbies, and home and family responsibilities, the average married couple spends just four minutes a day alone together.

Now go out and tell the world of your new found knowledge.  Smile it will make people wonder what you’ve been up to.  Join us tomorrow for another journey into the wonderful world of Wordsmith.  Click on the link below.  Who knows you may learn something along the way and some of the words may even bring a smile to your face.

James - not having a commute can help in getting the numbers up. Might help with the alienation issue as well.

Hi James,

All the lawyers are doing is looking for another way to sue another person. WOW what a concept. As far as the FOUR minutes together....well that just might be too much time together in some cases. LOL

Have a greta day in Rogers my friend.

Best, Clint McKie

Good morning James,

Sounds like they are in Vegas and what is the statute of limitations on suing?

Make yourself a great day.

Alienation of affection as cause for a lawsuit can happen in many states, not just New York and Mississippi. Not that I have any first-hand experience, mind you, but I do understand spending 4 minutes with your spouse.

James,

Ron and I definitely spend more than 4 minutes together a day...no wonder marriages fail on a regular basis. A

Unfortunate if married couples only have 4 minutes a day to spend private quality time together. Time to do some major adjustments.

4 minutes a day seems a little abbreviated James.

Definiely hitting on some quality of life issues there. Four minutes of quality time does not seem accurate.
