Well you know Valentines Day and your kid's Graduation is just right around the corner. And when there comes love and success comes a bunch of beautiful bouquets and flowers. It's so beautiful, you just want it to last a little bit longer before it wilts. Here are some tips on How To Make Flowers Last Longer.
Soda
Don't you trash that last drops of soda just yet. Mix 1/4 cup of soda with water into the vase the flower is in. The sugar in the soda will make the blossoming last longer. If you want a clear vase, use sodas like Sprite or 7-Up.
Hair Spray
Like how it preserves your hair, hair sprays can have the same effect on flowers too. Stand a foot away from the bouquet, and just give it a gentle spray.
Apple Cider Vinegar
Mix 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar and 2 tablespoons of sugar along with water. Make sure this is in the vase before you place the flowers in.
Vodka
Probably the most effective way to make your flowers look good as long as possible is to delay the growth of bacteria in the water it's in. To effectively do this, just add a few drops of vodka along with a tablespoon of sugar. It's important to change the water and doing this all over every other day.
