It's almost tax season, so are you ready to start writing off what you're entitled to? There are 5 things realtors should keep in mind come filing time.

1. Car expenses

2. Home office expenses

3. Business travel (airfare, hotel, etc) expenses

4. Professional service expenses

5. Insurance expenses

Make sure you have all of your expenses in the aforementioned categories documented and ready to put in your tax file.

Car expenses alone can cost a realtor a pretty penny from driving to and from showings, open houses, etc., so make sure you know what to write off!

Yes it is time to start thinking about gathering the data together. We usually don't file until April 15th.
