Well I just couldn't let the recipes fly by from the Kraft website without including at least one prepared with Velveeta.  Although many won't consider Velveeta a cheese (yes - it may be questionable, LOL) but no one can deny that some pretty tasty appetizers include it!

Hello Bill,

It is not an ingredient that everyone enjoys...but there are a few recipes that are just not the same without it!

Hello Ray,

I agree - a cheese stuffed jalapeno is great hot or cold!

Lisa  As a girl from New Mexico I would nver consider putting Velveeta in any recipe that used peppers - especially if they were Pablanos or Jalapenos.  My family would remove me from the Christmas Day calling list.  I believe Texans are "cut from the same cloth"

Lisa, I remember the days of my indulgence in foods like this. I loved hot poppers. The hotter/spicier the better. Lots of indulging food and drinks will be consumed this Sunday!

Hello Karen,

Giggle - that's why I added the line that some may not consider it a cheese...Velveeta is the "other" cheese (LOL)

I have never had Velveeta and the hot pepper would knock me out, however the picture of the coated pepper really does look like a cute little mouse!
