Remodeling.com has published its 2014 Cost Vs Value & Trends Report and for the second year it is showing that the value of remodeling is up for ALL 35 projects in the survey.
The 3 projects that had the largest gains out of the 35 nationwide are:
- Back-up power generator
- Attic bedrooms
- Deck Addition
The US National Data Cost VS Value 2014 Report is broken up into 9 regions:
- East North Central
- Pacific
- East South Central
- South Atlantic
- Middle Atlantic
- West North Central
- Mountain
- West South Central
- New England
New England is showing a better increase of return in most projects when compared to the National Average with the best returns in:
Wood Deck Additions New England returns 101% vs nationally 87.4%
Vinyl Siding Replacement New England returns 93% vs nationally 78.2%
Entry Door Replacement New England returns 109% vs nationally 96.6%
