Saugatuck was more of a Seller's Market in 2013 than in 2012

Real Estate Agent with Dorothy Hanson, Broker

Saugatuck City, Douglas Village and Saugatuck Township sales of residential units confirm that 2013 outperformed 2012 in sales.

In 2012, 164 residential units sold versus 200 in 2013.  This was an increase in sale of homes of 22%!

The median price in 2012 was $221,000 versus $252,000 in 2013 for an increase of 14%.  Dee Dee always quotes the median price instead of the average price because  Lake Michigan frontage homes sales can very often skew the average number.

Total Dollars spent in 2012 was $46,611,335 versus $59,047,786 for an increase of 27% in 2013 versus 2012.
