Now that I’m finally in the 21st century with my new Smart phone, the question came up - do I NEED the add ons to the phone - typically the cell phone case and the clear protective shield for the front.
I asked the wonderfully helpful sales person at Best Buy, Chris L, his opinion. He stated he had both for his phone and actually showed me his phone. Then, he stated every sales person at the store also had one with two different sales people showing me their phones. Best Buy has a Samsung Experience booth with a Samsung representative who mans the booth to teach new users. He had one, but he also went further to state that, while the new phones are much more drop resistant than in previous years, with the cost involved in time and money to replace the phone, why risk it for such nominal costs.
What has been your experience? Have you purchased these add ons?
Well, I did - I like that I wouldn’t have to look at some scratch on the front, particularly as I usually just drop my phone into my purse and go. And, I’m not the most graceful person in the universe and have been known to trip over cracks in the side walk. So, my phone is as protected against abuse and clumsiness as possible.
