My Victories for Wednesday

My Victories for Wed

I closed a loan today for a client who was refinancing his mortgages. He had a 6.5% and an 8.5% and both were interest only loans. He was on an arm and it was to adjust in Aug 08. He said the only thing he was doing was paying rent on his home with an interest only mortgage. So I put him in one mortgage, using stated income stated assets at 6.125% on a 30 yr fixed.

A new client can into our office today whose is developing a housing project and assisted living center for with our 100% funding program JV for 9M. He and his wife brought in all the paperwork, plans and renderings.

This is really going to be a great year.

I'm calling all of my clients and letting them know rates have dropped. I'm redoing their mortgage and saving them money every month at no cost to them.  Let me repeat that,  I'm redoing their mortgage and saving them money every month at no cost to them.  Now that's a no brainer. Even if you are in a 3 to 10 yr arm, clients are fixing their mortgages to 30 yrs so they can sleep at night. Let's work the numbers. We've been in business over 20 years. We work to earn your trust, loyalty and respect. I will treat your referrals with kindness.

Rod, Congrats on closing the loans. This goes to Paula's comment. THe IO loans are not a bad thing it gives people choices.  They don't have to just pay the IO.  If you listen to our president he would rather give longer term to mortgages.  Banks love this because if you ever look at an amortization schedule you will be in debt much much longer and lets face it you won't be in the home that long anyway.
