Desert Knolls is a lovely area in Apple Valley

As the name may imply, the homes in this neighborhood boasts

"A Room with a View"

Desert Knolls is commuter-friendly, near the 15 freeway, close to shopping and medical facilities.

The year 2013 ended with 98 sales*

The average home sold was 2374 sq. ft. at $98.95 a sq. ft. for an average sale price of $235.241. The average days on the market were 53.

The highest reported sale was at 12914 Valley View Court. Many people may remember this house off of Sitting Bull because 'in days gone by' it had a caboose in the back yard!  It has been made-over and is striking... but now trainless.  It sold for $575,000, and was reported to be 4911 sq. ft. 

The lowest price house sold for $82,000, built in 1952…(it needed some love).

That was the blast from the past, now looking forward…

There are currently 12 houses listed as back up and 38 houses pending (i.e. in escrow or under contract depending on which dialect of real estate you speak).

There are 85 houses currently listed for sale in Desert Knolls, the average home is 2792 sq. ft., is listed for $117.89 a sq. ft. which represents an average $329,772 asking price. 

The homes range from 4567 sq. ft. down to 1326 sq. ft.  The lowest price home is listed for $165,000 and the highest priced home is listed for $1,290,000.

There are many benefits to living in the high desert but one of MY favorite things about living here are the AWESOME sunsets.
