About Hidden Springs Idaho

Hidden Springs Idaho is a planned unit development, tucked away in the Boise foothills.  Just 7 minutes from town, Hidden Springs offers a picturesque quasi-rural environment, with over 800 acres of open space and trails held in conservation and dedicated to the residents use.  Hidden Springs has two swimming pools, over 23 parks/grassy common areas (some with play equipment and some without), a community orchard, an organic community farm, a clubhouse with rec room, sand volleyball court, and an event barn.

The Homes of Hidden Springs

The rolling hills surrounding Hidden Springs provide an ever changing backdrop of dramatic scenery, and one senses that the folks here have a little more room to roam than in the average subdivision.  Take a drive through Hidden Springs on an average day, and you'll see residents out and about, jogging, walking the dog, riding their bikes, and generally enjoying the out-of-doors.  With the abundance of open space designated for community use, along with access to trails, pools and grassy parkways and playgrounds, homeowners from all walks of life and demographics enjoy what the community has to offer.  A notably high percentage of homes enjoy foothill views, and the surrounding common spaces provide an added measure of privacy to many of the home sites.

Over 800 graciously designed homes line the gentle hills and draws, and pride of ownership is evident.  Strict architectural controls enforced during the construction phases ensured that while every home has character and individual beauty, each home is also enhanced by the homes in close proximity.

Community Spaces:  Frequently asked questions often relate to the maintenance of the common spaces and policies governing the use of the community spaces.  The quarterly association dues are collected for the purpose of maintaining the parks, sprinkler systems, community orchard and swimming pools.  Hidden Springs has it's own waste management facility which recycles all waste water.  The waste water (non-potable) is reused for watering the parks throughout the neighborhood.   There are two neighbhorhood swimming pools.  The Clubhouse Pool is chlorinated, and best for early swimmers as it has gradual depth decline.  The South Meadow Pool is a saline system and is an excellent facility for lap swimming (Hidden Springs Swim Team practices at the South Meadow Pool and the community hosts at least two swim meets during the competitive season).  There is also a baby pool with umbrella "mushroom" water fountain.

There community parks and grassy common spaces throughout the neighborhood.  Several of the parks have play equipment, benches, picnic tables.

Hidden Springs Elementary School

The designated public elementary school for the community is Hidden Springs Elementary School.  The elementary school maintains high academic standards, and test scores reflect performance in the upper 10% of all elementary schools in the Boise School District.
