Zen and the Art of Mortgage Haiku (5 of 17)

This is the 5th of 17 entries I've written for the "Mortgage Creative Writing Challenge".

The traditional Japanese Haiku format follows the syllable pattern of 5 - 7 - 5.
The writer might bring in a word or concept (kiga) that evokes memories of a particular season.
The last line is usually in sharp contrast (caesura) to the body of the poem.

I chose to backdrop each poem with a traditional Japanese watercolor or photograph. Some in contrast, others not.

To the Haiku purist the following might not be proper in the strict sense. Your latitude is appreciated.

Mortgage Haiku # 5

Why 17? It is the total number of syllables in a Haiku, no other reason.
Why separate them? Each one should be read and engaged individually.

Jason - I caught a ration of poop from Lisa on the prior 4 so instead I thought I'd preempt by giving her two clues.

I know you were there for me!

Hey, where are all the other entrants to the contest?

It can't be just Joey and Mike.

I would love Jason's interpretation of this one. You boys know things I don't - obviously!

Mike - I think there are a bunch that are waiting until the last minute. Remember the ARM'S vs. Fixed Rates contest, a bunch jumped in near the end. I think the same will happen here.

Jennifer - It's ok that you don't get this one. It's primarily for the LO's. However if you don't get it after reading the two hints, we can explain further.

Jason - On contests I usually wait till the last minute too. As soon as I make the commitment to enter I'll usually write the post and save it as a draft. That plan came back to bite me once. I had a great post written and like usual had it sitting as a draft. Along came another entry who's author had the exact same idea I had. If I had posted mine as it was written it would have looked like I was copying his idea. i had to write the whole thing over using a different premise.

Poop? I do not ration out poop! LOL... But if it's not in black and white, then I do tend to get lost. Umm. OK. The hints. I do see the double entendre....
