Cranford, NJ isn't just a town....it's a community. Residents here take great pride in making this a premiere place to live. Men, women...and kids especially, do what they can to enhance the quality of life for all residents.
Last year, in response to Hurricane Sandy, a group of Cranford High School seniors formed CHAPS, the Cranford High Assistance Program. The group helps local residents with various tasks, all for free.
And this year's freshman class has picked up where the seniors left off. Whether it's shovelling snow, raking leaves, babysitting, or picking up groceries, these dedicated teens just want to give back to the community that they love.

I read this article, and felt that this was really the crux of why I love living in Cranford, NJ. I know all of my neighbors. We help each other whenever we can. It's really like having an extended family that you can always count on.
